Soooo....I weighed in this morning and lost a pound. I know I should probably be writing how awesome that is and look how far I've come. I should say "Yeah! Went minus this week!", but you know what? I don't wanna! lol Sheesh, I've been walking through my plantar fasciatis pain, eating healthy (mostly) - shouldn't this stuff be melting away like butter?
Maybe I shouldn't have had the cheeseburger last night.... I will not be discouraged. I'm now 14 lbs. lighter than when I began and feel really good about myself. I feel the changes of my lifestyle starting to set in. I don't like missing my walks and I reallyyyyy like how I feel after meals - satisfied instead of sluggish and stuffed. I have one more week before I start my new job. That is going to throw a whole new dimension into this whole thing. Can I work at an 8 hour desk job and still lose weight? YES I CAN! Not sure how it will work out, but it will because the other choice is not an option. I suppose my road to weight loss will not be a steady stream down hill but rather a herky jerky line downwards. Key is downwards :D My goal for the next month is to find some sort of group/team activity to motivate me further for my workouts. It will be fun to see what I end up doing :)

AuthorMy name is Kat and I'm a single mom of two young adults. I have not always been overweight but after having children and going through some personal hurdles, let it get out of control. My philosophy about eating is this: Eat real food. Real eggs, butter, veggies. Eliminating processed junk as much as possible. I eat butter, not faux butter product because I believe my body can better process real food rather than chemicals. Archives
