It's not! If I stayed the same pant size as I am now I wouldn't be a bad person. It's about health - both body and mind. I'm at the weight I am because emotionally I've had some struggles and comforted myself in food and non-activity. When I don't turn to food for comfort and get my butt out of the house even when I don't feel like it then I know I'm doing ok.
It's about acting on what's right, not what I feel. Isn't that the biggest challenge in changing your health? "I don't feel like cooking" "I don't feel like exercising"...you get the idea. So here I am overcoming how I feel and getting to the doing. Here is the secret your mind doesn't want you to know. When you DO your feelings change! You FEEL better! Maybe not at the moment but when you look back at your day you can be proud of what you've accomplished. So today I'm doing (by getting off the computer after this).
